Several Falcon teams participated in community service projects as part of the 2013 WIAC Community Service Week. Each year the WIAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee designates a two-week period to encourage student-athletes to participate in campus and community service projects. This year's event was held from April 1-14.
Members of the women's basketball, women's hockey, and golf teams volunteered at the River Falls Habitat for Humanity Eco Village site. Members of the football team assisted with the set-up and take-down of the River Falls Relay for Life event. Members of the men's basketball team volunteered at the annual BRIDGE for Youth and Adults with Disabilities Bowlarama and assisted with a wheelchair basketball demonstration for an adapted physical education class.
